Ordering & Custom Prints

What's the minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum order at Shirt Stack. You can order a single shirt or a thousand — we produce every order with the same care and attention regardless of size.

You can upload your design and order directly through our online design tool, or contact us by phone or email for custom quotes on larger orders, special requests, or business programs. We’re happy to walk you through the process from start to finish.

Orders can be canceled or modified within 24 hours of placement (one business day). After 24 hours, if your order is already in production, no further changes or cancellations can be made. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change.

We accept PNG, JPG, PDF, AI, EPS, and PSD files. For best print quality we recommend vector files (AI or EPS) or high-resolution PNG files at 300 DPI or higher. We are always looking out for our customers, so if were not certain it will print right, we’ll verify that it matches your expectations before we begin printing. Not sure if your file is print-ready? We use Direct-to-Garment (DTG) and Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing. DTG is ideal for soft hand feel, full-color designs on cotton fabrics. DTF is better suited for heavier garments and polyester blends, where DTG results are either not possible or fall short of our standards. Both methods produce very similar results as they are both digital print methods, but the key difference is the process in how the image process on the shirt. DTG results are very soft and breathable, when ink cannot saturate a material like polyester,  a film transfer is created and placed on the garment which creates a thin barrier between the actual image and garment material. We’ll recommend the best method for your specific order.

How long does production take?

Most orders are produced within 3–10 business days after artwork approval and confirmation of payment. Actual production time depends on many factors such as the order size, job specifications, production queue, etc.

Estimates for how long your order will take to complete are always available upon request. Please note shipping times are determined separately and are not included in our production time estimates.

Rush production and expedited delivery options may be available for time-sensitive orders — contact us to discuss your deadline before placing your order.

Orders shipping within the continental U.S. take 1–5 business days depending on the service selected from USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Tracking information is provided when your order ships.

Yes — contact us to make arrangements for international shipments. Pricing and delivery times vary by destination.

Custom orders are final unless there is a production error on our part. If you receive an item that doesn’t match your approved artwork or has a print defect, contact us right away with your order number and photos of the issue and we will make it right.

Contact us immediately with your order number and photos. We guarantee our work and will correct any production errors at no cost to you. Requests for refunds on non-custom retail orders can be made up to 14 days after receiving your order.

Contact us immediately with your order number, invoice, and tracking number. We will work with you as quickly as possible to replace an order that has been verified to be lost or unrecoverable at no charge below or equal to $50. For orders totaling more than $50 USD we will ship with additional insurance protection and agree to replace your item(s) as soon as possible. Rest assured this situation is very rare and unlikely.

For the best results and to protect the print(s) wash inside out with cool or cold water. Avoid regular bleach. Use color safe stain removers as necessary. To dry, use low or no heat gentle settings. 

Pro tip: Separate your printed items from other garments containing metal buttons or zippers of any kind as they cause holes or tears in the fabric if washed together.
